Bethan was a basket baby raised in a Swynfaredian orphanage predominantly managed by Tenders .
Latching onto the values of the Tenders who raised her, Bethan became an ardent Mera worshiper and developed theurgy at a surprisingly young age.
Her zealous piety was off-putting to those around her and Bethan often ruffled the feathers of other Tenders and local Swynfaredian Dragonbloods. It was suggested that she parley her talents into being an adventurer.
As an adventurer, she traveled across large swaths of West Colassia eventually falling in with the group of Paladins who took over the Dragon Springs Barony. Through her talents and force of personality, she was elected Voice of the Goddess.
