Bryan ap Numaness is the young and recently crowned Count of Apples.

General Physical Condition
Bryan is fairly small and frail for a young adult in his supposed prime, but not quite handicapped. It's rumored that his mom drank a lot when she was pregnant with him.

Bryan was an early bloomer for sorcery and is registered as a second circle Illusionist and a second circle Enchantmenter.

Personal history
Bryan's parents were the previous Count of Apples and one of his female Fang warriors, a Bloodline sorceress. The previous Count was betrothed to someone else, but they had a liaison and she got pregnant, so to avoid a scandal, they had a pitchfork wedding with a thin veneer of nobility painted over it.
The main cash crop of the County of Apples is hard apple cider. Brian's parents were said to believe greatly in quality control, especially his father. The previous Count was reputedly not a bad ruler, he cared about the welfare of his subjects as did his wife. They might be described as high functioning alcoholics.
They might have been good rulers, but they were not good parents. When his parents weren't drinking, they were working. Bryan was raised by nannies and tutors and a lot of visitors from aunts and uncles who wanted to help "advise him"
Bryan recently inherited his father's title after he died in a drunken accident, that some believe was not an accident as he was rumored to be on the bad side of the Blood Dragons. But given that his father had a reputation for heavy drinking, him dying from an accident is plausible. Another rumor is that one of his "advisors" arranged the accident, hoping to puppet Bryan better.
Note, people who believe it was actually an accident, believe that if the previous Count was murdered, they would have got the mother too. She is still alive. Bryan is of age, and therefore does not need a Regent, but his mother is still a trusted advisor and confidante. And also, being a Fang Warrior with a dead husband, she is very literal taking the role of a overprotective mother now and reputedly stopped drinking.
