Divine Scrying

A theurgist with Crafts ●●● and Divination ●●● can spend 4 experience points and at least a week of study and mediation can learn divine scrying.   Divine scrying requires some tie-in to the caster's deity on or near the scrying pool but a painted holy symbol or small portable statue is sufficient.   Divine scrying is more or less exactly the same process as arcane scrying, See Into the Weeds: How Scrying Works for how all the details.   The difference is an arcane scryer will roll Perception + Divination and an divine scrying rolls Perception + Theology or Enigmas.   Favored spheres only apply if the theurgist has Crafts and Divination. This normally means Greymoria-affiliated casters have a innate aptitude for this but it is possible for a theurgist who has Crafts or Divination as a deity-aligned favored sphere and the other one as a personal favored sphere can scry just as well.   Also, Crafts and Divination are options for Scarterran patheon casters. The Cult of the Compact doesn't have many men and women in Scarterra that can scry but those they have are among Scarterra's best scryers.
