Enchanted Command
Mindbending spell forces a subject to obey a spoken command, to the letter. With some caveats.
Effect
Mindbending spell requires a target to follow a single command though the command has several limits.
Target resists with Willpower difficulty 7. If the caster wins the contest by one success, the target must follow the exact letter of the command. If the caster wins the contest three successes, the target must follow the letter and spirit of the request.
Either way, the have to follow the task until completion or for two hours per net success rolled, whichever comes first.
The command does not have to be made immediately after the spell is cast, but it must be spoken within ten minutes of casting and it must be in a language that the target understands. The command needs to take under two minutes to verbally relay.
The command cannot force the target to cause direct self-harm. They cannot be told to slit throat or even cut themseleves non-lethally. They cannot be told to walk off a cliff or dive into a freezing lake.
They can be told to do something indrectly harmful to themselves. "Walk into the desert without carrying any water". That's not immediately suicidal.
The target cannot be ordered to inflict harm on another creature that is likely to fight back (or have friends, guards, or family likely to retailiate).
The target can be ordered to recite something specific, but they cannot be ordered to answer an inquiry that the caster does not know.
The subject has no question that he or she was forced to act against his/her will.
