Master of Phases
The Lanterns don't put much stalk in rank and titles, but the Masters of Phases and Mistresses of Phases are considered worthy of respect and deference. Lanterns take their rituals seriously and they recognize that planning and coordinating the larger rituals is difficult and often thankless.Sometimes we have to put asside our personal causes and vendettas to guide the general populace in their venerations of Zarthus. We Lanterns are pretty good at squashing our personal horse skyte when it comes to veneration rituals and the Masters of Phases (or Mistresses of Phases) keep us on our toes and make sure when put our noses to the grindstone when it is important""We Lanterns are a famously willful and independent lot. We are arguably the most de-centralized member of the Nonagon. At best, this makes us adaptable and resourceful, at worst, it makes us isolated and vulnerable. Just like the phase of the moon changes, so do our roles.
Qualifications
The Masters of Phases need to demonstrate great skill and fastidious in planning and carrying out formal worship rituals.
It is helpful but not required for a Master or Mistress of Phases to have good relations with the rest of the Nonagon and the Cult of the Compact.
Appointment
Usually Lanterns gradually phase into this role without realizing it (pun!). Lanterns are expected to pitch in to help with rituals as much as they can and those that do so regularly will eventually find others calling them "Master of Phases".
Responsibilities
The formal task that Masters and Mistresses of Phases is to coordinate community wide Zarthus rituals.
Informally, Masters of Phases often get saddled with other important but often dreary tasks on behalf of Zarthus tempels.
They often ends up peforming seneschal duties to balance a temple's ledgers and spearhead fundraising efforts.
Accoutrements & Equipment
Not every temple has regalia for the rank but a growing trend is to present blue sashes with silver moons on them to the presiding Master of Phases at large ceremonies.

I'm always happy for any chance to get some additional exposure for Scarterra. Feel free to talk about it during a stream. I'm half-surprised this article got your attention, I wrote it relatively fast compared to some of my other Summer Camp entries.
yeah this is the article category I'm judging, but yes you did manage quite a job well done on the article despite everything! You had nice pictures and even quote boxes. ;D
