Nikolai Nerozik III, Nikolai the Unlucky
Nicolai Nerozik III was the second born child and only son of Nikolai Nerozik II. Nicolai Nerozik II did not outlive his father so he never got his father's Baron or later Count title so it passed to Nikolai Nerozik III.
Nikolai Nerozik III was fortunate in that he inherited a Count title as a young adult, but unfortunately he did not get to hold the title very long, and he had no sons, only daughters.
Nokolai was a good leader. He was smart and hard working and respected by his noble peers and his commoner subjects. Nikolai inherit a largely untamed realm and he had to dealt with brigands, Fair Folk, goblins, monsters and the like fairly often. He died to a lucky shot while leading his men in one such skirmish.
Hence he is commonly referred to as "Nikolai Nerozik the Unlucky" to distinguish him from the many other Nikolai Neroziks
