Rank and Title among the Testers
The Testers only have three formal ranks. Neophyte, Initiates, and full members.
Neophyte: Small child pledged to Maylar. Contrary to popular opinion, the Testers do not force little kids to fight or endure tortures. That comes on or shortly after their tenth or eleventh birthday.
Initiate: Adolescents and young adults that are preparing to enter Maylar's service.
Full members: Full members are addressed by other Testers as Brother Insert Name Here or Sister Insert Name Here.
Beyond this, Maylar's an and do seek additional titles but these titles represent honorifics for merit rather than formally recognized positions of leadership.
