Community Suggestion: Make more use of the "News" tab
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
On the homepage while logged in (worldanvil.com/dashboard), there are multiple tabs, like Community and World Memberships. One of those is News... which doesn't see much use right now. It links to posts from the worldanvil blog (blog.worldanvil.com), but only some of them, and as a result the most recent post is from (early) May. Since then there have been at least 11 more blog posts, counting on the blog's homepage, which haven't been linked/shown in the News tab. And sure, those new blog posts are also communicated in other methods (like the monthly update notifications, or the pop-ups when you open the site), but it seems strange to leave them out of a tab dedicated to news updates.How does this feature request address the current situation?
By adding more of the (already existing) blog posts to the news tab, it sees more use and makes it easier to look up recent updates or news articles that you might've missed or accidentally dismissed, or just to check a recent update for something. Since the tab is already used this way, and the blog posts already exist, it shouldn't require (much) additional work, I think.What are other uses for this feature request?
None, I think? I guess porting more posts from the blog would make it easier for users to see that it's actively used and encourage them to check it out.The Team's Response

I suppose I should admit I don't use the NEWS tab much myself lol but yeah if it's there, it should be current. I'd likely chalk it up to the team being busy, but it is a good thing for them to keep in mind. thanks for bringing some attention to it! God bless <3
