The Custodians of Eternity have the long-term goal to make necromancy something that is seen as respectable and not something to be feared. They want to make the creation and use of undead minions to be legal in as many places as possible.
Dallas is considered to be one of their most charismatic and least threatening looking necromancers, so he has become the Custodians unofficial spokesman.

Dallas is a half-satyr, but he generally passes himself as a half-elf (which are physiologically near identical to half-satyrs).
He grew up poor and struggling, but caught the eye of a Folk Magician who took him on as an apprentice though Dallas had a falling out with his original over Dallas tendency to bend the rules and norms on socially acceptable magic.
Dallas moonlit as a merchant and reagent forager in the Border Baronies Region, very briefly joining a group of brigands before deciding that wasn't a life for him and eventually landing in the Barony of Eternity where he found a new magical mentor.
