Fishing

Fishing requires a Perception + Survival roll and four hours of work. Base difficulty varies between 3 and 8 depending on how common large tasty fish are in a body of water. Obviously, if there are zero fish in a body of water, than it is impossible to catch any fish regardless of how well a character rolls.   Assuming fish are present, a single success can feed one human sized person for a day.   The right tools (or the wrong tools) can modify the difficulty.   Tools Modifier   Professional fisherman’s tackle -1   Hobbyist or adventurers tackle base line   Tackle is made from modified tools +1   Survivalist improvised fishing tackle from nature, scavenged bones and sticks, etc +2
