With the three formerly most influential merchants imprisoned awaiting trial for being wiling vampire collaborators and the fourth most influential merchant Mantas recently looking like a buffoon, it was not clear who would fill the vacant merchant space on the Pentarchy.
Eventually, Greelup the tengku managed to convince a majority of the local merchants to support him taking the seat.
While Greelup is viewed as being "trustworthy for a tengku" a lot of the general populace is not especially thrilled to have a tengku on their ruling council.
