House Myndar
Mostyn and Talaith the new royal couple are both in their early thirties. They have called their family House Myndar.
They have four sons and a daughter. The daughter is the second youngest.
Their children are 15, 12, 10, 8, and 4. At this point the odds of the oldest being a sorcerer are slim, but not impossible. Hypothetically, a ten or twelve year-old could manifest signs of sorcery but it's not common.
Mostyn and Talaith are big fans of nepotism. When they fled Uwcharedia they took a lot of their squib brothers, sisters, and cousins with them. Many of them were married with children. They all proudly bear the House Myndar surname now, and they make up the bulk of the new realms ranking retainers.
Any member of the old regime that swore fealty to House Myndar got to keep their old position. Most of them died or ran away. Every vacancy has been filled with a Myndar squib.
Mostyn and Talaith are clearly hoping one or more of their nieces or nephews manifests sorcery.
King Collen
The late king Collen died in his fifties. King Collen's first wife was a Borderlander sorceress named Catriona. Catriona died along with their infant son died of disease but it is rumored they were poisoned. Catriona had three daughters before she died.
One, a confirmed sorceress apparently ran away from home to avoid an arranged marriage and it is unknown where she is now. Another fell ill and died as a teenager under suspicious circumstances after manifesting sorcery.
One is still around and swore fealty to the new regime along with her husband. She is a confirmed squib and is in her early thirties. She married one of her father's non-sorcerer retainers and they had five children ranging between 4 and 14. House Myndar is watching them carefully to see if any manifest sorcery.
King Collen's second wife was Eira, a Fremiss-A bastard. She is said to have specifically went to Altruredia in order to seduce King Collen. It is whispered that she killed Catriona but Eira was still firmly in Swynfaredia when Catriona died.
Eira swore fealty to House Myndar though it seems that the Myndars are holding her children hostage. Eira had three sons and a daughter with King Collen, the daughter is the youngest at five. The oldest is 15. He is probably a squib, but it is not impossible that he is a late bloomer.
King Collen was famously lecherous. He had six bastards that he publicly claimed. It is likely he has other bastards floating around. But he does, Kormatin's sources don't know about them.
Of the six known bastards
1-one squib son died on a Borderland adventure long before the coup.
2-One squib daughter swore fealty to the new regime.
3-One squib son was apparently killed during the regime change.
4 and 5- Two bastards are are either at large or were killed by the Myndars quietly , (22M and 16F). The daughter is rumored to be a sorceress. If alive, they are probably together because they were reportedly close.
Lady Pallavi Wiern is 12 going on 13
6-One if five year old (boy). Reportedly with a married peasant woman who has several half-siblings.
