Throwing
Small objects (weighing three pounds or less) can generally be thrown their Strength x 5 yards. For every additional two pounds the throwing distance is reduced by five yards. Irregular objects don’t fly as far and streamlined objects can be thrown much farther at the storyteller’s discretion. Aerodynamic objects can be thrown extra far.
Throwing an object with a degree of accuracy requires Dexterity + Athletics roll. Difficulty 6 for half the character’s effective range. Difficulty 8 for range on the back end of their maximum throw.
If a weapon is thrown with attempt to harm, consult the combat rules. Otherwise one success means the object more or less lands where you want it to. A botch indicates the item is dropped, an ally is struck or something similarly bad happens.
