Grandpa Valdix
Valdix
Biological parent of Ronyer the cobbler. Paternal grandfather to Nilen. Valdix is Nilen's oldest living relative and he is the oldest person in his village, roughly equivalent to a human in his early seventies.
Valdix was and is a farmer. Valdix is not as spry as he used to be but his mind is sharp as ever. Very much a poster child of earthy traits. He has dark brown skin that’s very craggy with pronounced wrinkles and smile lines. He still has his hair but his flat top of straight black hair has since turned white as snow.

Grandpa Valdix is very earthy with only a tiny drop of watery traits. Most of Nilen's pronounced watery traits comes from his mother's side of the family.

Personal history
Valdix was always good with his hands and can craft or fix his many of his own tools, but he never made a living as a full-time craftsman. He is a farmer first and a craftsman second.
Valdix's son son and most of his grandchildren are craftsmen are first and farmers second, generally only putting down their craftsmen tool at the peak of planting and harvest time.
His wife, Minoa died fairly young well before Nilen was born. As a respected paragon of the community, Valdix had many options to remarry, but Valdix was a romantic and refused to remarry after the love of his life died.
