She wasn't sure if she was a wild mage or secretly had a Dragonblood ancestor, but she was made an offer by House Selwyth. If she pretended to be a bastard daughter of Selwyth, her social status would improve.
She became a competant Fang Warrior and her status did improve...at least until she was cut down by Kormatin using the heirloom Selwyth sword known as the Talon of Aeres
