Murder trees are malevolent trees that prey on animal life and seem to have a special antipathy towards humanoid life. The origin of the murder trees is unknown, credit or blame for their creation is given to the Demon Lords, Greymoria , Korus or some combination there of. Perhaps Korus and Greymoria were working together. Perhaps Greymoria tricked Korus. Demons may have perverted a more benevolent plant creature into blight trees. Theories abound. When murder trees appear their warp the nearby plant life to make it thornier and more poisonous. The most noteworthy and dangerous thing they do is spawn large numbers of twig blights.
