(The chapter opens with tenebris, Arthor, Machi, Andrea, Kristoff, and other legionaries boarding a legionary warship and setting off) 

Arthor: So if we're going against the Kongur, were going to need all the man power we can right? 

Tenebris: right. 

Arthor: so, can you teach me how to use Orku? 

Machi: how to use it...you've already been using it. 

Arthor: what no I haven't. I'm not able to shoot energy blast or control gravity or anything.

Tenebris: Machi is right, you have already shown the ability to use orku. the clearest sign is the glowing eyes. 

Arthor: I think I would know if my eyes were glowing.  

Andreia: we will arrive at trinity in 4 days. 

Arthor: (eyes start glowing green)

Tenebris: right. Well, it takes a lot longer than 4 days to master the use of orku but I can teach you the basics. 

Arthor: Yes! 

Tenebris: First lesson, Energy absorption. like I said before this process is difficult on a ship. however, this is a bit of a different case. with this big a ship and this many strong people abord, this area is filled with Orku. So first things first you must feel the emotional energy around you. sit down (Tenebris sits down and arthor sits down after him. Tenebris starts meditating and he starts glowing) 

Arthor :umm ok (he closes his eyes)

Tenebris: This technique is called Safna. This is what allows people to use more energy then they produce, as well as replenish their energy after using it. Picture yourself breathing, you take the oxygen out of the surrounding area and fill your lungs with it. 

Arthor: (breathes deeply)

Tenebris: then you breath out after it becomes carbon dioxide. the same goes with orku, you take it in from the surrounding area turn it into energy you use and expel it as your own. 

Machi: (sits down with them) 

Arthor: (opens one eye and looks at his hand) Aghhh, its not working.

Tenebris: Focus, it will take time. 

Arthor: (closes his eyes again) 

Tenebris: breath in, breath out. focus on your surroundings. 

Arthor: (breathes in) (thinks about the dream he had of karri and the Kongur) (his eyes open and they glow green)

Tenebris: (opens his eyes) good, now feel the emotions around you. 

Arthor: (no response)

Tenebris: (more in the background) Arthor? 

Arthor: (still thinking of the dream) 

Tenebris: Arthor! 

Arthor: (snaps out of it) 

Tenebris: Arthor, is something wrong? 

Arthor: No, no I'm fine.

Tenebris: (looks at him knowingly)

Arthor...it's karri. he has been with the Kongur for weeks now. who knows what has happened.

Tenebris: I know you are concerned about your brother, but worrying isn't going to help him. if you let one emotion dominate you, it will affect you ability to fully learn and control your emotions. So focus. take a deep breath. 

Arthor: . . . . (he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath in) 

Machi: (leans over to tenebris and whispers) whose karri? 

Tenebris: (whispers back) he's Arthors twin brother. 

Machi: and he was kidnaped by those guys with the black energy? 

Tenebris: Yes. 

Machi: Yikes, that's pretty bad not gonna lie. 

(Both Tenebris and Arthor open their eyes and look angrily at machi) 

Machi: My bad, I'll just uhhh, I think I heard someone say my name over there (he gets up and walks away) 

Tenebris: lets get back to Safna. (both closes their eyes ) This is the most important step in furthering your abilities. it will allow you to continually use energy without danger if running out. it also drastically decreases the danger of using your personal orku. 

Arthor: And the distinction between personal orku and natural orku is its where it comes from right?  

Tenebris: Correct. you do listen. 

Arthor: what's that supposed to mean? 

Tenebris: nothing...focus. 

Arthor: I'm Focusing. 

Tenebris: Deep breath. 

Arthor: I swear if you tell me to take another deep breath...

Tenebris: Focus! 

Arthor: IM FOCUSED! 

Tenebris: clearly

Arthor: this is stupid are you really going to teach me to use orku or not? 

Tenebris: I'm trying to. 

Arthor: no your just having me sit down and meditate, how does that help me learn to shoot energy blast or be strong enough to destroy a building? 

Tenebris: Like I said, that will come with time, but it is important to learn the basics, so your going to have to listen to me and do what I say. 

Arthor: UGGHHH.....fine....(he closes his eyes and takes another deep breath) 

Tenebris: Feel the emotions of the people around you.....feel their emotions flow into you and out. Tell me what your feeling. 

Arthor: (his eyes still closed) I feel Joy, Anger...and concern, people are worried about what's happening at Egran. some uncertainty about the future....

Tenebris: good good anything else? 

Arthor: there's something else...(his mind flashes back to the dead Kongur and the body flashes between the Kongur's and karri's and he opens his eyes and they glow Orange and the ships deck cracks around him) 

Tenebris: woah! (backs up), you alright? 

Arthor: (his eyes stop glowing and he looks around scared) 

Andreia: what's going on over here? 

Arthor: S..Sorry...(he gets up and starts running off) 

Tenebris: Arthor! (arthor runs out of sight) 

Machi: what's going on with him? 

Tenebris: I don't know. (silence for a bit) 

Andreia: . . . Your paying for that. (points to the cracked deck) 

Tenebris: huh? 

CHAPTER 56 TRAINING DAY 

(The chapter opens at sundown and arthor is sitting on top of the crows nest and tenebris climbs up the ladder) 

Tenebris: there you are. 

Arthor: Here I am...

Tenebris: (climbs up and sits next to him) what happened back there? was it me saying focus too much?

Arthor: no, its not about the training...

Tenebris: yeah, I figured.....its about karri isn't it?

Arthor: (nods slowly) 

Tenebris: look, I'm not really the best on talking about stuff like this, and I've never had any siblings so...

Arthor: (staring out at the setting sun) 

Tenebris: . . . 

Arthor: Those spirits...or whatever they are...their not just orku are they? 

Tenebris: (shocked) . . . no. 

Arthor: who are they? 

Tenebris: (grabs his rings) Their my friends...or what's left of them anyway. 

Arthor: what do you mean?  

Tenebris: . . . A long time ago, that island. it was full of people. hundreds of thousands. it was home to one of the most powerful kingdoms in the world, if you can believe that. 

Arthor: what happened? 

Tenebris: They called it the Extinction of time. A war between the kingdoms of the world, and Tempura. It lasted 10 years. 10 years of fighting...of fear....of death. (he clenches his rings and his eyes light up slightly) I was the only one left. These spirits...these copies of my friends, its the only thing I have left. now no one has even heard of tempura....its all been forgotten. 

Arthor: This prophecy you've been talking about. what if something happens like the Extinction of time, and we're caught in the middle of it. what if karri.... 

Tenebris: We'll get him back. I made you two a promise...

Arthor: you keep saying that... 

Tenebris: and I mean it. 

Arthor: but how can you be sure. 

Tenebris: I cant, but I will do everything in my power...

Arthor: but what if its not enough what if we get there and Raxis is too strong, what if....

(the sun goes down and it gets dark) 

Arthor: what if he's gone. or something worse. what if I never get to see him again. 

Tenebris: . . .

Arthor: I'm the one whose supposed to protect him...And I let him down...(tears start running down his cheeks)...It's all my fault... (holding the bracelet) 

Tenebris: you know that's not true...

Arthor:  But it is! I could have stopped him, he told me what he was going to do and I did nothing to stop him...I did nothing. 

Tenebris: you didn't know he was going to go out on his own...

Arthor: But...I...I could've...

Tenebris: (pulls arthor into a hug) we cant change what happened...so there's no use of trying to. 

Arthor: (continues to cry into tenebris) 

Tenebris: (holds arthor with his normal arm and grabs his rings with his bandaged arm) 

(the frame zooms out and shows the tenebris and arthor and the sky and fades to black) 

CHAPTER 57 A BROTHERS HEART 

(The chapter opens with Solomon and others in a tent at night lit up by lanterns) 

(the red haired man walks in) 

Solomon: Barron, welcome back. were you successful? 

Barron: I was. 

(a man in a full suit of royal legionary armor with cracks of fire all over it and a helmet with a visor walks in, followed by a taller younger male with black hair wearing Royal legionary armor with a massive gear on the back walk into the tent) 

Solomon: ahh, Magnus and Karine, welcome. 

Magnus: you must be Solomon the Revolutionary. 

Solomon: I guess my reputation proceeds me. to have a Royal knight know of me is quite an honor. 

Magnus: Lets get down business shall we. 

Solomon: very well. please take a seat. 

(they both sit down at the table with the other leaders) 

Solomon: so as I was saying the siege will begin in the morning, The farmers guild has already cut off the food supply to the castle. 

Farmer guild leader: Even after cutting off supplies the king will still have several weeks of food stored. but we will continue to cut off their supply. 

Solomon: Excellent. Any word from the smiths guild? 

Karine: unfortunately there will be no help from Voltarrok, Makros has refused to supply malmite weapon. 

Solomon: that's unfortunate to hear.  

Karine: but I believe my legions as well as Magnus's will have more than enough firepower to deal with any outside threats. 

Solomon: Will the 7th be joining us? 

Magnus: No, Rune's got his hands tied up with the situation with the northern states and the Frosinn tribe. 

Solomon: Well that is to be expected. what about support from Trinity? 

Leader 2: The second royal legion is still in discussions, but have not had any breakthroughs. 

Barron: we have prepared ships to blockade the southern ports as we speak, even if they did manage to get help from other kingdoms they will be fighting for a while.

Solomon: Good, keep me posted, if they get even one legion from another kingdom that will make our plans a lot harder. lastly is the Immortal, where does he stand in all this. 

Magnus: His loyalty is to the throne. not Sirius, he will not go against the people. having said that I do not believe he intends to fight for either side. 

Solomon: hmm. Still we should prepare counter measures if he does. I will have to think of this farther. how many are gathered? 

Magnus: 9,000 from the 19th stand ready outside the city walls

Karine: 6,500 from the 25th also stand ready. 

Barron: 1000 off the coast.

Leader 1: All those willing to fight from the north count 20,000

Leader 2: as for the south only those in and around the city have agreed to join the revolution, the exact number I cannot say. 

Barron: that makes over 15000 legionaries and more that 20,000 revolutionaries. 

Solomon: good. Karine you will be taking a third of the forces to the remaining states who are affiliated with Sirius do whatever you see fit to have them join the revolution. 

Karine: Very well.  

Magnus: The rest of the forces will be split into two camps. One will lock down the Refa border and the rest will begin the siege on the Castle in the morning. we will fight for a better tomorrow for as along as it takes. 

Solomon: That is the plan, thank you ladies and gentlemen for coming. you are dismissed (the leaders get up form the table and exit the tent but Solomon stops Magnus) 

Solomon: I appreciate your willingness to help the cause. 

Magnus: make no mistake, I only agreed to follow you until a suitable ruler is on the throne and the states are reunited. I rather not follow a commoner such as yourself. once this is all over you will be rewarded, but you will have no claim to the throne. this sentiment is not one I am alone in. do your part and we will do ours. (his visor glows red ) 

Solomon: My only wish is to see Egran restored to its former glory, that will be a reward in itself. 

Magnus: (his visor stops glowing and he walks out) 

Solomon: "hough" Legionaries... I never wanted help from them but I suppose it was inevitable. without their strength our plan would never work. nevertheless soon enough it will all be over. (they exit the tent. Barron puts a mask with one eye on) Let the New Era of Egran begin! (the panel zooms out to show thousands of tents and people surrounding them all lit up and busy) 

(it cuts over to karri in a room asleep clearly beaten up) 

(the blue haired lady burst through the door waking karri up) 

(Guards walk in after her and throw Orion and vela in. both looking very beaten)  

Kongur Leader: come with me. 

Karri: (thinking) I recognize these guys, their captains of the dead stars, what are they doing here?) 

Kongur Leader: Lets go! we have "training" to get to. 

Karri: ( grabs his bracelet and looks out the bared window at the night sky) (whispers) I know your looking for me. (he walks out behind the lady as she closes the door)  

CHAPTER 59 THE RESISTANCE

(the chapter opens up with tenebris, arthor and machi in the mess hall on the ship in the morning) 

Machi: do you guys ever get the feeling you don't belong somewhere? 

Tenebris: nope    Arthor: All the time  

Both: why? 

Machi: well....(the panel zooms out and theirs a bunch of people wearing legionary uniforms eating at various tables but none of them are sitting around the 3)...I don't know, maybe its just me. 

Andreia: (comes over and sits down with the three) so, I have a bunch of questions for you guys. 

Arthor: I have a question too, can you leave. 

Andreia: what? 

Tenebris: (is eating and Smacks arthor in the head) forget about him, what's up? 

Andreia: Midas said he was a kid when you were in the legions 120 years ago, You must've been a strong Royal knight if you've lived as long as you said, so why is there barely any information on you in the legionaries history?  

Tenebris:  (tenebris choaks on his food and grabs his drink and chugs it down.) what do you mean? 

Andreia: I'm just saying I've read over 200 years of legionary history from all the kingdoms and there is only one mention of you, and it says you served for only a single year. why would someone like you randomly disappear for more than 100 years and randomly show up now? 

Machi: yeah, I was wondering that too, aren't you like 150 how come you look...like 30? 

Tenebris: I don't know if I have a real good answer for either of those questions, but I'll give it my best shot. as for my absence from the legions history I guess you could say I had something of a falling out with them. And I cant tell you how old because I don't know, (holds up his bandaged arm) whatever this power is has something to do with it. 

(Andreia, Machi and Arthor stop eating and look at him concerned) 

Tenebris: but I'd rather not get into either of those topics deeper. 

Andreia: well as far as I know your on our side and Midas seems to trust you so I'll save the rest for later. 

Machi: The more I hear about that black energy the more I feel like I've made a terrible decision following you.  

Tenebris: (looks at machi confused) 

Machi: what? 

Tenebris: anyway we only have a few more days to get ready for what's ahead.

Machi: ha you gotta learn stuff (points at arthor)

Tenebris: Machi that includes you. 

Machi: Xi? but I know already know how to use Biaani? 

Tenebris: but it was clear from your fight with Orion that your technique was sloppy at best and your control is severely lacking. 

Arthor: HAHA! 

Machi: (annoyed) whatever man

Tenebris: but for now, Arthor come with me. 

(they walk away with their plates) 

(Andreia and machi sitting at the table) 

Machi: you gonna eat that? 

(cut to Arthor and Tenebris sitting out on the deck again ) 

Tenebris: Now, instead of focusing on the emotions around you I want you to focus on karri. 

Arthor: What!? I thought you said I shouldn't focus on that? 

Tenebris: I did say that, but will you be able to focus on anything else? 

Arthor: not really....

Tenebris: that's what I thought. So, use the emotions that brings up.

Arthor: but what about...(looks at the cracked deck) 

 Tenebris: Don't worry If anything happens I am right here. you got this. 

Arthor: right right...okay. (he closes his eyes and he thinks of the dream about karri and opens his eyes and they are glowing green) 

Tenebris: Alright now, channel that hated from around you, instead of from you. 

Arthor: what do you mean?  

Tenebris: the energy you feel right now is fueled by your hate, feel that same energy around you. 

Arthor: (closes his eyes again and everything around him goes silent and dark, the panel zooms out and shows the whole ship now black and outlined with white. and little green sparks of energy start glowing and green energy starts forming around him) 

Tenebris: good, keep it up! (he puts his hand out and he opens his eyes and their light blue) 

Arthor: now what? 

Tenebris: take all that energy and internalize it. 

Arthor: how do I do that? 

Tenebris: Like I said think of breathing in.

Arthor: oh yeah cuse that was so helpful last time.

Tenebris: Listen, the energy you have right now breath it in.

Arthor: alright...(he takes the energy into his hands and takes a deep breath and it starts disappearing slowly into him until it is all gone and his eyes stop glowing) 

Tenebris: HA, you did it! look at that! 

Arthor: Lets go! what exactly did I just do? 

Tenebris: Safna, you absorbed energy from the area. 

Arthor: so what do I do now? 

Tenebris: here (he holds up the plate from breakfast a little ways from arthor) take out your dagger

Arthor: ok (he holds out the dagger) 

Tenebris: now use the knife to cut the plate but think about the plate as the Kongur and channel that energy through the knife. 

Arthor: riiiiight...k here goes nothing I guess (his eyes glow and he slashes the air in front of him and nothing happens) 

Tenebris: ok...so uhhh

Arthor: did it work!? 

Tenebris: not really no...

Arthor: well I did what you said. 

Tenebris: hmm, remember how it felt when the ground cracked. do that again. 

Arthor: this guy really thinks that was on purpose..."hugh" alright, here we go. 

(he closes his eyes and energy forms around him, he thinks about karri, opens his eyes and their glowing green as he looks down towards tenebris) AGGGGHHHH!!! (he slashes and a huge arc of green and red energy flies towards tenebris. ) 

Tenebris: woah! (his eyes glow blue and he steps back and catches the slash with his bandaged hand and redirects it off into the air) (he looks back at arthor who has pasted out) 

(he takes him to the infirmary and lays him down on the table, the doctor looks at him touches his chest and listens to his breaths) he'll be fine. he's just exhausted himself is all. 

Tenebris: "Hough" good. (he looks at Arthor sleeping and looks back at his bandaged arm and sees the bandages are all cut up around his hand) (Thinking) even with that amount of training he was able to output that much power. the surprises never stop. (fade to black) 

(Fade back in on the door to the deck) 

Machi: (burst through the door) Alright what did I miss out here! ....? Tenebris? ...Arthor? 

CHAPTER 58 FOCUSED ENERGY

(the chapter opens in the castle with a legionary running down the hall to enter the throne room) 

Legionary: (burst through the door) my lord, they have begun. 

Sirius: lock down the castle. Fortify the defenses and take down anyone who enters in that is against the throne. do not let anyone inside the castle walls!

Legionary: (bows and runs off) (the guards in the throne room follow the legionary out) 

Sirius: they want a revolution as if I have not served them faithfully for so many years. (slams his fist down on the throne. )(looks to the sky) Is this the thanks I get! 

Solomon: (standing outside the castle gates) 

Barron: (walks up to Solomon) The ports and borders have been secured.

Solomon: Anything from the 25th? 

Barron: they have begun their negotiations with the southern states as we speak. 

Solomon: Excellent. They have shut down the Castle gates just as I had planned. 

Magnus: (walks up as well) We will begin our Assault shortly, the castle gates will be difficult to get through but we will break through sooner or later. 

Solomon: any word from trinity? 

Magnus: No, the second has not returned yet. 

Barron: when they do we will be ready. 

Solomon: good, alright then, time to shine. (he walks in front of the castle gates) COUNTRYMEN, REVOLUTIONARIES, BROTHERS, NOW IS THE TIME. WE HAVE BEEN OPPRESSED FOR FAR TO LONG, THE TYRANICAL REIGN OF SIRIUS WILL COME TO A CLOSE. A KING SHOULD NOT TAKE VALUABLE RESOURCES FROM HIS OWN. A KING SHOULD NOT PRIORITIZE OTHER KINGDOMS OVER HIS. A KING SHOULD NOT FORCE HIS PEOPLE TO FIGHT HIS BATTLES FOR HIM. A KING SHOULD FIGHT FOR HIMSELF AND FOR HIS PEOPLE. WE WILL TAKE BACK WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS. AND WE SHALL ENTER A NEW ERA OF PROSPERITY. FOLLOW ME AND TAKE BACK YOUR FREEDOM! (the crowd cheers and charges at the castle and they start putting ladders up against the walls climbing up) archers shoot arrows with flat tips at the crowd to knock people off of the ladders) 

Magnus: Archers ready! ( legionaries behind the crowd of people aim their bows high and their eyes start glowing) Fire! (they release the arrows and different coloured arrows fly into the archers at the top of the castle walls. the revolutionaries climb the ladders and get to the top and start fighting the legionaries on the wall) 

Legionary: sir we are not able to break through the gate. 

Magnus: (his visor flashes) Infantry fallow me. (he walks up to the giant metal gate. his armor and visor starts glowing red and he walks next to the gate and it starts melting as he walks through it he gets through it and multiple legionaries attack him but their weapons start melting and he disarms them and sends them flying back. he opens the gates up.

(Legionaries in the castle court yard stand ready) 

(the gate opens and the crowd enters in and rushes towards the guards. the legionaries stand as the crowd engages them they start cutting down people and fighting) (the master legionaries start sending waves of people back with their energy) 

Solomon: (nods) (Barron runs in and draws his sword and starts slicing through people effortlessly. Magnus also takes down everyone he faces easily. the battle goes on for quite a while before only the lead legionary left alive.) 

Solomon: (walks through the crowd of revolutionaries and dead bodies and stands over the lead legionary) It didn't have to end this way, All these people giving up their lives to protect a corrupt king. 

Legionary: You call yourself a Revolutionary, but you refuse to accept the future of the world. peace with other kingdoms is attainable. 

Solomon: Peace is not compliancy. it's power. (the legionaries eyes start glowing and he reaches for Solomon and Barron cuts him down spurting blood onto Solomons jacket. ) 

Magnus: Set up a blockade around the castles inner walls. set up camp, and wait for the next commands. (everyone starts cheering, Solomon closes his eyes and starts walking back and looks up at the castle, as it cuts to Sirius in the throne room looking out the window down at Solomon who seemingly looks directly at him and turns away and starts walking) 

(the same legionary walks in) 

Legionary: the outer guard is gone. 

Sirius: That damned man will be punished for what he has done. all those people....where is Demion and the 2nd? 

(the panel cuts to tenebris arthor and machi training outside)

Legionary: Prepare for docking at trinity temple! 

(they all look over and see the island in the distance with a massive cathedral)  

CHAPTER 60 THE OUTTER WALL
