Duke Aleksander Wiern
Aleksander was the third born son of Duke Oles Wiern II and Princess Ewa Linijka. He never expected to inherit his father's title, but he outlived both his elder brothers and ended up becoming duke.
His twin sister was Aleksandra Wiern. He was born about twenty minutes before her.
When he believed he was not going to be duke, he sought a life in academics rather than politics. He was a wizard, sage, and alchemist. Far more competent in a laboratory or library, than the battle field, he was a capable administrator but he was never much of a warrior, relying on his knights to handle the defense of the realm.
