Fumaya has lots of problems

    The Swynfaredian military is slow to mobilize, but the Booters have their own problems to deal with before they can hope to properly resist the incipient invasion. King Henryk is young and untested. He is clever and of noble heart, but his gluttonous and lecherous father him with an empty treasury, and his capital city of King's Lake is infested with criminal cartels.   Duke Vern Palbuc is even younger, not even of age and he has the widest border to defend of any of the king's vassals. The north of Fumaya is "defended" by Count Obrect Polnoc, aka "Obrect the Cub". A kind-hearted old man but one lacking in the strength and drive of his famous forebears, and now driven half-mad with grief from losing many loved ones as his people suffer from extortionist orcs raid from the Great Colassian Tundra. Further south, Fumaya's many forests hold monsters and threats beginning to stir with greater frequency.   These are just the obvious and well-known problems afflicting Fumaya.   There is no shortage of problems for heroic individuals to solve here.
