Queen of Swynfaredia

Originally, the Kingdom of Swynfaredia used patriarchal primogeniture sorcerous succession.  Since the Second Swynfaredian Civil War, the Swynfaredian crown has passed to the eldest direct heir with Sorcery regardless of the sex of the child.  Since the laws changed, a disproportionately high number of monarchs have been queens   The current wearer of the crown is a Queen, Queen Gwendolyn ap Numaness inherited the crown from her father who inherited the crown from his mother who inherited the crown from her mother.   it is possible that a child can inherit titles from either or both parents.  Through politically arranged matrimony and the occasional mysterious death, the Crown has changed hands.  Through most of Swynfaredia's history, House Numaness held the crown though there were long periods where House Goirsonad held the crown and one very brief time when House Framiss had the crown very early in Swynfaredia's history.
