County of Emberhold

Government
Like most Swynfaredian titles, rulership of the County of Emberhall is a hereditary title passing to sorcerers and sorcressess only. The ruler is currently a middled aged sorcerer.
House Selwyth and House Numaness are technically political rivals, but the count is playing the role of a loyal vassal, paying his taxes on time and not making waves.
Industry & Trade
Emberhold produces enough timber to meet domestic needs and exports agricultural products. The main exports are grain, wool, and cheese.
Natural Resources
Emberhold has farmland and pastureland with a few carefully tended woodlands.
The area has relatively few standing bodies of water, so the farmers rely on wells and rainfall. Rainfall is usually consistent, but the area occasionaly experiences droughts or floods.
