Luvon Firebringer Warrior
Like many satyrs, Luvon is the product of a casual tryst. In this case, his mother was of the herd of satyr fauns and his father was of the mountain goat herd.
Luvon grew up in the Dragon Springs Barony but found the local Paladins a little bit offputting, prompting to him to become a traveling Firebringer. Luvon is a pious and skilled warrior and he is an honory priest of Mera, but he is not a theurgist.
Luvon is more restrained than most satyrs. His holy calling to Mera's ideals is the prime motivating factor in his life and he values helping others over his own enjoyment. That said, he is not a drone or fanatic and the Tenders believe in letting their priests and warriors take time off duty to relax. Luvon is still a satyr and is no stranger to letting his hair down. His idea of a good time is drinking wine, playing the drums, and flirting with pretty girls.
He ended up inheriting his mother's piety for the goddess Mera and inheriting his fathers fondness for direct action and violence. Luvon is a member of the Tenders, Mera's core followers, and is part of the Tender group known as the Firebringers, referring to warriors who honorably and bravely fight to protect the weak, all while showing mercy to non-combatants and giving quarter to enemies whereever possible.

Weapons Luvon is skilled with many different weapons and yet to pick a favored weapon to specialize in. When out in the field, He normally carries a morning star, spear, dagger, bow, and shield and wears medium armor (five soak dice). When out and about in a nonthreatening enviornment, he usually wears light armor (three soak dice) and carries an arming sword and buckler shield for self defense. Morningstar, difficulty 7 to attack, difficulty 8 to parry with (though nothing stops Luvon from using his shield to parry at a much lower difficulty). 8 dice damage against soft target, 9 dice of damage against heavily armored target. Spear, difficulty 6 to attack and parry with. 7 dice base damage. +1 bonus accuracy die when attacking or parrying against large beasts or monsters. Arming Sword, difficulty 6 to attack and parry with, 7 dice of base damage. Dagger, difficulty 6 to attack, 7 to parry with, 6 dice of base damage. Long Bow, difficulty 6 to shoot. 7 dice of damage. effective range of 120 yards, maximum range of 240 yards. It takes a partial movement action to reload. He normally carries a quiver with 20 arrows on him. Shields: A full shield can be used to parry melee attacks at difficulty 5 or block arrows that Luvon can see coming at difficulty 6. Fighting with a full shield lets Luvon give a passive penalty of +1 to all attacks not attacking from the flank or behind. A buckler shield does provide a passive defensive penalty to attackers, and it cannot effectively stop arrows (difficulty 8 if you want to try), but it can still block melee attacks at difficulty 5. He typically wears medium armor, which provides fives soak dice, and carries a +2 penalty to Fatigue checks. Backpack, bedroll, small tent, utility knife, change of basic clothes, clerical robes, small traveling drum, 25 silver pieces, 50 silver pieces, two simple torches, flint and steel, whetstone, a week of rations, two water skins, 50 feet of silk rope, any other reasonable gear the player comes up with that I overlooked. 2 Healing Potions, each potion will heal three levels of damage.
