Duke Eduard Palbuc the Grim
Duke Eduard Palbuc (a.k.a. the Grim)
The fourth child of Dyzek Palbuc the Vindicator and Luceria, the only male child. He inherited his father's title of duke in 1541 and held the title till his death in battle 39 years later.
He was a competant ruler but was considered very stern, especially towards the commoners.
He married Princess Janah II Linijka in 1539 when they were both seventeen years old. They had two sons and a daughter. They didn't get along particularly well though they tried to maintain a pleasant façade at public appearances. Both took duty and honor seriously and did not pursue affairs even though they did not really like being with their spouse.
