Count of Luceria

The Count of Luceria is the ruler of the Luceria County.   The Count of Luceria is a a vassal of Duke of Palbuc though the vast majority of the time, the Count of Luceria and the Duke of Palbuc are the same man.   Sometimes, when the Duke of Palbuc is very old, he will retain his Duke title but willingly divest his Count title to his heir as a formality and to let his heir grow into rulership more gradually.

Duties

See to the welfare of the people of Palbuc. Maintain good relations with the nation of Codenya

Responsibilities

Maintain the army of the realm and serve the Duke of Palbuc and by extension, the King of Fumaya militarily when called upon to do so.   Pay feudal duties to the Duke of Palbuc and by extension the king.

Benefits

Collect taxes and income from Luceria County. Command the loyalty of the barons and banner men of Luceria County.
