Temple of the Vines
The Temple of the Vines is the largest Nami temple in land of Fumaya.
It is not one large building but a series of smaller buildings owned and operated by the Fumayan Rovers.
The area has a literal temple that serves as a worship space with a nearby outdoor ampitheater. Weather permitting (or even if the weather is not), the local Rovers prefer to worship Nami outdoors.
The Rovers allow secular groups to use ampitheater for their own uses as long as they don't damage the space. The ampitheater has hosted plays, debates, sporting events, open markets and more.
The temple owns dormitories to house it's members and guests, a few small homes to give high ranking members and guests a modicum of privacy. The temple operates a public inn.
They have a dining hall with attached kitchen to serve the staff and visitors of all stripes.
The local Rovers own some vineyards, a brewery, and a winery. There are other vineyards, breweries and wineries nearby that are not owned by the local Rovers have a finger on the pulse of these places.
The temple helps run a nearby hospitals, along with the Fumayan Tenders with whom they split the costs and responsibilities roughly evenly.
Purpose / Function
The Rovers generally prefer their temples be living dynamic things. That's why people work, sleep, and play in their extended temple complex in largely the same way they would work, sleep, and play outside the complex.
The Rovers have a broad mission to aid travelers with their complex which is why they sponsor an inn and a hospital. The vineyards and breweries are both intended to spread joy and merriment and to raise operating funds for the Rover's basic expenses and their hospital.
The actual temple of Nami is primarily used for quiet meditation and reflection. Things the Rovers are not especially known for, but something the Rovers do take seriously.
Alterations
The Temple of the Vines expanded, adding new buildings or making old buildings larger as they Village of Satyrs expanded. In a lot of ways, the Temple of the Vines and the Village of Satyrs are viewed as two halves of the same hole.
