Duke of Palbuc

The Duke of Palbuc is the feudal ruler of Duchy of Palbuc, being owed the fealty of the three counties that make up the administration.   The Duchy of Palbuc physically includes the Island of the Stewards but it does not politically include the Island of the Stewards because it is a semiautonomous feudal bishopric answereable to directly to the king.   That said, the Duke of Palbuc and the Head of the Island of the Stewards usually have good informal relationship.

Duties

Seeing to the needs of the citizens of the duchy.

Responsibilities

Pay feudal tithes and meet troop obligations to King of Kantoc.

Benefits

Collect income and taxes from the lands of the duchy. Command the loyalty of the realm's banner men.
