Common
The common tongue, or simply "Common" refers to the language spoken by most humans in Scarterra. By an astonishing coincidence, Scarterran Common is virtually identical to the American English.
Given that humans are the dominant species on Scarterra, a large number of non-humans learn this tongue out of pragmatism. A few non-human creatures even learn this as their native tongue.
In Scaraqua, this language is referred to as "Land Common"
