Itirean satyrs

Itirean satyrs are a small culturally distinct off-shoot of the Mediterranean satyr herd that is localized in the northern regions of Fumaya. They are often colloquially called "northern Fumayan satyrs" because almost all of them are in northern Fumaya.
There are about 2,500 Itirean satyrs compared to about 200,000 Mediterranean satyrs.
They are more nomadic and nature focused than the mainstream Mediterean satyrs and a little bit more culturally removed from humans, and create fewer half-satyr babies as a result.
They are somewhat culturally similar to the Kionus satyrs in many ways, but they have no direct connection and they are less isolationist and less nomadic than their northern snowy cousins.

In some ways, they are more removed from humans than most other satyrs. In others they are more intwined with humans. One of their humanish traits is a greater tendency to use human-inspired names instead of elf-inspired names. Another of their more humanish traits is they have a somewhat greater focus on blood families and monogamy than most other satyrs.
The Itirean satyrs commonly worship Korus primarily though they support Mera-esque family values aned Zarthus-esque self sufficiency, and a Maylar-esque focus on harsh pragmatism.
Common Etiquette rules
While still possessing satyr gregariousness, Itirean satyrs are a little bit more formal than most other satyr herds.
Common Dress code
Itirean satyrs tend to dress practically as opposed to dress as a fashion statement though they will wear some jewelry or make some small signs of personal expression with their outfits, just more subdued than most other satyrs.

Birth & Baptismal Rites
Itirean satyr names days are more or less unchanged from what the Mediterranean satyrs do but with a greater focus on Korus.
Friends and extended family usually gather to witness a ceremonial baptism nine days after the satyr kid's birth.
Coming of Age Rites
Again, pretty similar to Mediterranean satyrs. 18 year old satyr men and women go on a ritual fast and vision quest in the wilderness. The main difference is Itirean satyr rites of passage tend to be a fair bit harsher.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Satyr funerals are viritually identical between Itirean satyrs and Mediterranean satyrs encompassing a mix of formal and informal observances with both mourning and celebratory aspects to the funeral.
Memorial customs post-funeral are informal but fairly frequent most of the year, but given more formal observance on Samhain.
Historical figures
The Itirean satyrs are named after a "self-taught" anointed of Korus, named Itireae. Who had a lot of children and had a lot of proteges and followers who adopted her as an "auntie goat" or spiritual mentor. Itirae called a return to nature and self-sufficiency and being less closely culturally tied to humans though still cordial with humans.
Even well after Itirae's death, other Mediteranean satyrs have periodically "felt the call" to adopt the Itirarean life style, and a few Itrirean satyrs rotate back into the mainstream Mediteranean herd, though the net effect is that the Itrirarean herd is slowly growing.

Beauty Ideals
Most Itirean have co-dominant airy and earthy traits, sometimes with a small splash of watery traits,
Hair and eye colors vary a lot but grey eyes and light brown hair are the most commonly seen eyes and hair respectively.
Airy people tend to be thin and long of limb and earthy people tend to be soldly built and stock. Sometimes the hybrid combo creates very big people who are both long of limb and quite muscular and this is considered especially attractive to both sexes.
